Lisa arrived in London after training in Berlin and winning a number of hairdressing competitions. She was headhunted to work in a salon in Camden and knew immediately that London, which she describes as the "world capital of hairdressing", was where she wanted set up on her own.
Her passion for hairdressing and fascination with colour began when she was just 12 years old when she added a green streak to her hair. The rest as they say is history and Lisa Hauck Hair and Make Up was founded in 2009, her dream is now a reality.
Lisa is a highly skilled professional always listens to her clients so she can create the look that they want.
Accompanied by her 9kg Ryanair hand luggage Sabine arrived in London in the summer of 2009 just for a short stay... Some days earlier one of Lisa's clients spotted a handwritten note in a shop window in Primrose Hill... and a couple of days later the lease was signed. When it turned out that Lisa would need a receptionist from time to time Sabine decided to stay and to help out.
And here she is: a former librarian and family-manager becoming a receptionist, shampoo girl, baker, cleaner and "girl Friday" (nowadays called "salon coordinator on demand"), Sabine brings her own special brand of charm to Lisa Hauck's. She welcomes in each and every customer with a smile, a greeting and the offer of one her delicious homemade pastries.
Mary is a multi-lingual, experienced and versatile graphic and web designer. As well as Lisa Hauck, her clientele includes musicians, publishers, corporate companies, small businesses and TV stations. A long-time regular client of Lisa's, she currently helps out part time at reception and with the running of the salon.
Jonathan’s interest in hairdressing started when he took the clippers to his dad’s hair... and made a very good job of it!
He’s now realising his dream of becoming an expert on session styling and creative colouring. Freehand colouring techniques like balayage are his speciality.
Jonathan joined the team in 2014 and since then has hit the ground running. He’s won first prize in the National Hairdressers Federation’s Britain’s Best competition for consumer fashion blow-drying. And became one of only 4 finalists in the UK competing for a scholarship called Step Up and Shine.
Stephanie left the buzz of a big hairdressing salon in Berlin to bring her unique blend of skills to Lisa Hauck Hair and Make Up. Her passion for hairdressing began with braiding her friends' hair when she was a school and carried her through a tough apprenticeship to become the professional she is today.
Stephanie has additionally trained in men’s haircuts; colour correction; and wedding hairstyles. She’s created looks for actors in a coca cola advert and numerous music videos.
